The detail
Every step, explained.
1. Create your case (free)
Tell us who owes you — a person or a business. For businesses we search the Australian Business Register in the background so you name the exact legal entity (suing a trading name is a classic rookie error).
2. Describe the dispute
Plain English is perfect. As you type, our AI writes a neutral one-line summary for the court forms, detects the claim type, and suggests the amount based on the numbers you mention. The forum finder works out your court or tribunal and filing fee while you keep going.
3. Tick off your evidence
Each claim type has its own checklist — condition reports for bonds, second quotes for tradies, payslips for wages. Upload what you have (we fingerprint every file with SHA-256) or tell us honestly that it doesn't exist.
4. Get interviewed
Our AI interviewer asks the follow-ups a sharp paralegal would: exact dates, what's in writing, what they've said, how the amount adds up. Usually 5–7 questions.
5. Preview your letter, then unlock
Your letter of demand is drafted in your name with a 21-day deadline. You see a blurred preview free. Pay $49 (or pick Standard/Premium) to unlock it, revise it as often as you like, then email it from here or send it yourself.
6. The deadline
Once it's sent, they have 21 days to pay (28 for Northern Territory debts; posted letters run from when they should arrive). We add 3 days' grace, so your claim unlocks on day 24. You can send up to two reminders you approve — day 14 and day 20. Paid? Click 'Mark as paid'.
7. Your sworn statement, in your words
Still nothing? Standard and Premium unlock your sworn statement. You write it yourself: courts such as the NSW Local Court and NCAT don't allow AI-written evidence, and VCAT requires AI use to be disclosed. We give you the topics to cover and put your words in the court's format, with the right disclosure. Your letter and claim form are separate AI-assisted drafts you check.
8. Statement of claim for the right forum
We prepare the claim or application for your exact forum — NSW Local Court, NCAT, VCAT, QCAT, and the rest — field by field for the official form and portal, with fees and a filing checklist. A person checks it before release, and you lodge it yourself in your own account.
9. Serve it
Lodge it yourself through the official portal, then order mail service through our service partner (third-party, paid separately) or use the court's own service where available.
10. Premium: walk in ready
Premium adds a full court pack, case analysis and the Hearing Simulator: five practice hearings showing the questions you'll likely get, the best points on each side and your weakest evidence gaps. No odds or scores, and a lawyer reviews it before you see it.
Stop being nice about it.
Build your case free in about 10 minutes. Letter of demand first, statement of claim and court pack if they ignore it. Court-ready from $99 incl. GST.
